Thermoregulating and comfortable, the technical polyamide fabric is lightweight and features targeted ventilation panels to quickly wick away moisture and keep your feet fresh and dry. Protection is key, with vertical ribbing and cleverly-placed 3D.dots on the upper to add comfort and padding. The sensitive Achilles and instep areas also benefit from extra lining thanks to a terry loop weave on the inside of the sock that prevents friction and discomfort. Underfoot, a pattern of 3D.dots (75%) and Flat.dots (25%) offers elevated impact protection, added grip and ventilation as well as a light micro stimulation, helping increase venous return and delay fatigue as you enjoy the endless alpine panoramas. Our signature arch support complements this effect, with micro compression to activate blood flow. It also prevents the fabric from twisting and folding, saving you from painful rubbing and irritation. The ergonomic toe box is developed for comfort and proprioception, allowing the toes to grip intuitively in uneven terrain. Last but not least, a special, anti-friction Cordura yarn is used in the toe and heel areas for extra comfort and optimal blister protection. Higher and more protective than our Fast Hiking model, these socks are perfect for short to moderately-long hikes in walking boots.
