Application
- The pins on the tool engage the smallest pinion on the cartridge and hold it in place, while the hole in the center allows easy access to the cartridge locking feature.
- The version for 11 and 12 tooth pinions has longer pins on the "12t" side. This makes it fully compatible with cassettes where the two smallest pinions have 10 and 12 teeth. When removing a cartridge where the smallest pinion has 10z, the tool will overlap and fit into the next 12z pinion.
