By integrating the MIPS AIR® system, we have incorporated the lightest and most advanced rotation control system directly into the helMET padding. MIPS AIR® is specifically designed to mitigate rotational forces that can be transmitted to the head during certain angular impacts, allowing relative movement between the energy absorbing layer and padding up to 10-15mm for optimal protection.
MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS construction sets an unrivaled performance standard. Our research team used the elastic modulus of carbon fiber to reduce the density of EPS foam by 20%, creating a lighter but more powerful shell that sets a new standard in ventilated helMET design.
Thanks to the Venturi effect, the helMET directs hot air through strategically placed exhaust outlets, ensuring continuous airflow without increasing drag. The rear of the helMET improves aerodynamics, working with the NACA front vent and rear baffle to guide airflow with optimal efficiency.
