First and foremost, these shorts feature Progetto's industry-leading seamless X² Air Donna liner, which has two separate sections: a soft, stretchy layer that takes care of your skin, and a separate cushioning section with dual-density foam and gel layers for progressive cushioning. Even the best liner is useless if it moves, so we made the area around the hips with our Force compression fabric, which holds the liner in place while providing good ventilation.
The bottom of the pants is light and airy with perforated fabric to keep you cool. They are held in place by our Giro Air mesh hems. The beauty of this construction is that you can adjust the length to your preference - as they are long enough that the edges of the shorts, for example, don't rub against your leg. The braces have CASTELLI's unique Drop-tail design, they're so elasticated that you can pull them on without having to take them off if you're on a toilet break, and they're also strong enough to hold the trousers in place during your ride. The braces aren't seamed, so you can cross them at the back or front as you like.
