The first AERO DRESS project has no name, a fact of the second.
When we at CASTELLI created the first aerodynamic jersey for road racing in 2006, everyone thought we were crazy. At the time, aerodynamics were only used in triathlon. Back then, professional clothing was limited to moisture management. You could win the Tour de France in a jersey that was little more than a polyester T-shirt. As our aerodynamic consultants predicted small speed gains, we named our jersey "Fraction of a Second", but we figured it was worth a try. In the end, the gains were considerable, and we launched a revolution in professional peloton clothing. We are now on our sixth major jersey revision. Each generation has become airier and better fitting. The Aero Race 6.0 has benefited greatly from CFD aerodynamic analysis of fabric and seam placement in the riding position. Team Ineos riders gave us feedback, and we worked to ensure that the jersey was comfortable throughout training and racing, in all possible weather conditions. This is our most aerodynamic and comfortable jersey to date. But we're already working on improving it.
