The Cytal Lite is a true mountaineering helmet with large, open ventilation channels so that as much heat as possible can easily escape from the whole head at a slower pace of mountain ascent. To maintain safety and at the same time reduce weight, the helmet has an exposed EPS insert with an outer PC shell only in the most necessary places, which provides greater structural stability. The helmet has a wing similar to that found on its sibling Cytal and Cytal Carbon helmets, but here it is scaled down to allow more heat to escape up and out of the helmet when climbing. Even the inside of the helmet is optimized to save weight. The padding in the front of the head has an open structure that allows more air to flow around the forehead and keeps the weight as low as possible. Also included is a light weight adjustment system that makes it easy to find a secure and comfortable fit.
