By integrating the MIPS AIR® system, we have incorporated the lightest and most advanced rotation control system directly into the helMET padding. MIPS AIR® is specifically designed to mitigate the rotational forces that can be transmitted to the head in some angled impacts, allowing relative movement between the energy absorbing layer and padding of up to 10-15mm for optimal protection.
The MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS construction sets an unrivaled performance standard. Our research team used the elastic modulus of carbon fiber to reduce the density of the EPS foam by 20%, creating a lighter but more powerful shell that sets a new standard in vented helMET design.
Using the Venturi effect, the helMET directs hot air through strategically placed exhausts, ensuring continuous airflow without increasing drag. The back of the helMET improves aerodynamics, working with the front NACA vent and rear deflector to guide airflow with optimal efficiency.
