Syntax is a raced cut helmet charged with technology. Due to the aerodynamic shape and perfect ventilation, it will not be lost in flat or hilly terrain - just a perfect universal. In addition, thanks to the ROC LOC 5 clamping system, in which the MIPS sliding layer is integrated in the case of the MIPS technology technology, it fits luxuriously on the head.
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) provides increased protection against rotary forces per head.

MIPS's Movement
Progress in the development of cycling helmets
All Giro helmets are designed to absorb as much energy as possible, and meet the valid European standard: EN 1078. The aim of the new MIPS technology is to eliminate the rotary forces that act on the head in the event of a fall. In the case of any angle, the MIPS system allows EPS the helmet shell to rotate independently around the rider's head. Although this movement is only in a few millimeters, we believe that MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotary force that could otherwise be transferred to the brain.
What is MIPS (multidirectional Impact Protection System) and how does it work?
MIPS is a slippery insert between EPS shell (helmet body) and internal lining. In the case of an angle impact (for example, when you capture your head on a branch), EPS the helmet shell is switched by a few millimeters after the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from steep rotation jerk.
