I've worn them twice in the Rain so far and they work 100%, they're breathable, thin and pack perfectly into a jersey pocket along with a waterproof jacket, they're lightweight. They stay on the foot just right, they don't slip or fall off, and I have a rather small calf. I took size 47-49 for size 47 shoes. The shape fits well with both road and mountain shoes. If you want them for the winter, look for an insulated boot.
