The entire construction is aimed at being as breathable, lightweight and cooling well as possible while providing the support you need. The fabric at the crotch is lighter than what we use for our summer pants, and the mesh side panels help with extra ventilation. Instead of a full liner, we use just the top of the Progetto X2 Air Seamless liner because it's soft and squishy enough for most indoor rides, but it's also much more breathable than the full Progetto X2 Air liner.
