The name of these pants, Sorpasso means "overtaking" in Italian. That's what we tried to do with these pants, to make them a bit faster, better and more comfortable than before. They are made as technical equipment for riding in the widest range of winter conditions.
The main part of them is Nano Flex 3G third generation, our patented fabric with Nano surface technology, which gives it a high level of water repellency, without affecting breathability, elasticity but also warmth. With the pants you get a highly stretchy, compression fit that moves with you, and is very warm and comfortable. We've added a few more panels of Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric to provide a little more wind protection and more warmth in the front and thighs, and also in the back to increase protection from water running off the bike.
Well it's not just about the materials used, it's also the anatomical fit at the bend of the knees and hips, while the seamless flat braces don't press and keep everything securely in place. Our generously padded Progetto X² Air seamless liner makes long rides easier. And reflective panels keep you visible in all conditions. We've designed them as a pant for riding all winter long.
