About author Žiga Korent is a visual artist with a diverse creative background specializing in painting. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Textile and Fashion Design from the University of Ljubljana and completed a Master’s degree in Painting at the College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana. His artistic practice is deeply rooted in his interdisciplinary education, blending the structured, detail-oriented approach of textile design with the expressive freedom of painting. His work reflects an ongoing dialogue between these disciplines, showcasing a profound understanding of materiality, form, and color. In 2020, two of his pieces were acquired for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia's art collection.
