This is a jacket designed for fast riding on those days when it's too warm for a jacket and too cold for a jersey. Traditionally you might use a vest and arm warmers on such a day, but this jacket does it better.
Instead of blocking all the wind, our stretch fabric lets a small amount of air through. However, it blocks enough air so you don't get cold, but lets enough air through to keep you dry. Polartec® Alpha® insulation works with the outer fabric in key areas. It's lightweight but adds more warmth without compromising breathability.
The jacket is cut close to the body, making it our most aerodynamic jacket. Not that you need aerodynamics in the winter, but we firmly believe that speed is fun. The slim fit also makes it warmer than minimalist fabrics would normally allow.
Other features are strictly rider-focused: an easy-sliding YKK® Vislon® zipper makes one-handed ventilation a breeze. Three rear pockets provide plenty of room for whatever you need on long rides. It's cropped so it doesn't bunch up unnecessarily in the front or back. Reflective details help you be seen. The fabric is water-repellent on the surface to protect against splashes and short showers.
