No PFC compounds (commonly used in the sports industry for water-repellency) were used in production, as these threaten the environment and are very difficult to break down.
The fabric was selected in accordance with the Higg MSI index (a material sustainability assessment system) to ensure that Gore Fabrics meets its commitments and supplies only products free from PFCs and other environmentally harmful substances.
