The type of data available varies by trainer type:
- On trainers that do not change resistance level: the sensor records speed, power and cadence data.
- On trainers with variable resistance: the sensor records speed and cadence data.
- Note: My E-Training software senses performance data for all ELITE treadmills.
- Devices must be compatible with the "ANT+ speed & cadence" protocol for speed and/or cadence data to be sensed by ANT+ cycle computers or GPS devices.
- The 'ANT+ Power' protocol shall be supported by the GPS device or cycling computer to capture power data.
- A list of devices compatible with one or more of these protocols is available on the ANT+ website.
- To capture speed and/or cadence data using a Bluetooth Smart Ready GPS device or cyclocomputer, the device must be compatible with the "Speed & Cadence"profile for the Bluetooth Smart protocol. To display power data, the Bluetooth Smart Ready cycling computer or GPS device must be compatible with the"ANT+Power" profile for the Bluetooth Smart protocol.
The Misuro B+ works best when used in combination with the My E-Training app, which was developed for smartphones and tablets, but can also be used with other apps compatible with the Bluetooth Smart and/or ANT+ protocol. Additionally, there are many current cycling computers/apps/GPS devices compatible with the ANT+ protocol that can sense data from the Misuro B+ without using a specific app.
