With the twin benefits of the HyperBELT construction and the chosen pattern, derived from the Pirelli Angel™ Scooter, the new Angel™ DT Urban tyre is able to offer a more comfortable and smoother ride, even in the wet. The 5mm thick protective rubber layer gives the tyre the highest level of puncture resistance, helping you to cope with changing conditions when riding in the city. The profile of the Angel™ DT Urban tire is patented and based on motorcycle practice, where its shape promotes an agile riding performance in traffic, and a comfortable and safe use in the city.
TECHNOLOGY
PROCompound Urban
Rubber compound with silicone content is compounded for best application and use in the city and on cycle paths. It features good grip, low rolling resistance, and excellent durability.
HyperBELT
A 5mm thick puncture protection layer that combines with a 60tpi fiber density cut resistant nylon carcass. Excellent protection and comfort regardless of the quality of the road surface.
MultiRadius Profile
The tread profile is sharper in the middle of the tread for responsiveness and more rounded towards the edges. The result is maximum handling and contact area between the tire and the substrate.
CERTIFICATION
E-bike Ready
The entire Angel™ Urban range is ECE-R75 certified, meaning the tyres meet European standards for the needs of fast e-bikes that can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h.
Reflective stripes
Reflective stripes meet the requirements of European ECE-R88 regulations, which specify that the reflection of light from the reflective stripe is sufficiently visible even at unfavourable angles.
