Gaerne ICE Storm GoreTex are ideal for extremely cold weather conditions or in the rain. Upper: combines highly breathable G.active Airflow microfiber with Gore-Tex® Duratherm® membrane. This suit offers breathability, waterproofing and thermal insulation, even in the most intense cold conditions. Elastic Gore-Tex Rattler® hem with rear loop for easy donning and reflective elements for added safety in low visibility conditions. Anti-abrasion reinforcements on the toes and sides. Midsole: highly insulating thanks to the addition of thermo-reflective aluminum. Placed between the outsole and the upper, it creates a thermal barrier which allows the foot to stay warm and dry. Heel: Non-slip and anatomical. Closure system: BOA IP-1 Rotor for precise, fast and uniform closure across the entire forefoot area of the shoe. Insole: Anatomical with support in the tarsus area to ensure comfort and efficiency when pedaling. Gaerne EPS CARBON POWER SOLE outsole made of carbon fiber reinforced nylon for superior rigidity. The ultra-thin thickness reduces the distance between the foot and the pedal, achieving optimal performance. Anti-slip rubber inserts on the front and back of the sole provide stability on the bike. Compatible with most quick release pedals available.
