Muc-Off TUBELESS REPAIR puncture repair kit

29,99 €
Ride uninterrupted with our precise tubeless repair capsule. It is lightweight, easy to use, and represents the perfect backup in case you can’t seal a tough puncture. The robust and durable body made from CNC-machined 6061 aluminum serves as a shelter for your plugs, and the tool handle is wrapped in silicone for an easy grip in any conditions. Thanks to the integrated 2-in-1 tool made from hardened 304 stainless steel, it functions as both a puncture plug and a reamer, and comes with 5x thin, 5x medium, and 5x thick plugs. It is compatible with all tubeless road, gravel, and MTB tires. Capsule/body: 6061 aluminum Puncture plug tool: 304 stainless steel Weight: ~26 g (without plugs) 66 mm x 20 mm Color options: Available in black and pink Instructions for use: 1. Identify the source of the puncture and remove any debris or the source of the puncture. 2. If the puncture requires medium or larger plugs, ream the hole several times with the serrated part of the tool, making sure to use a 45-degree angle and follow the direction of the tire to avoid damaging the tubeless tape or tire wall! 3. Now grab a tire plug (you may need to use the tool to help push the plug out). The largest size is intended for MTB tires, medium for gravel tires, and small for road tires, but you can choose the best one for your hole size. Now firmly press one end of the plug between your fingers to flatten it. (If using a thin plug, thread it through the tip at the end of the tool, not through the main larger groove.) 4. Thread the groove at the end of the tool so that the plug is now centered in the tool. 5. Find the puncture hole and then insert the tool through the hole (at a 45-degree angle and following the direction of the tire to avoid damaging the tubeless tape or tire wall!) until the plug is about halfway into the tire. Make sure the ends of the plug remain on the outside of the tire. 6. Slowly twist the tool clockwise a few turns to twist the plug inside the tire and slowly pull upward to remove it—the plug will stay in the tire and the hole will be sealed. 7. Reinflate the tire to the desired pressure and you’re ready to go! (On a road bike, we recommend a maximum of 80 PSI!) 8. Once home, we recommend trimming the ends of the plug with a knife so that at least 3-5 mm still protrudes from the tire. (Be careful when trimming.) TIP! Simply trim different sizes of plugs individually or in pairs and place them in the capsule so you have multiple options for different puncture sizes! WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. The tool has SHARP edges, so use with care. For road tires, we strongly recommend replacing the plugged tire as soon as it is safe, especially if you want to use the tire at high pressure! (On a road bike, we recommend a maximum of 80 PSI!)
